 Agenda/Goals/Thoughts

Breaking News...This is the e-mail which was sent to Principal McCarron this morning (Monday):
Good Morning Principal McCarron,
Pursuant to your request for our YTE class to create an E-yearbook, please accept the following:
As a whole class activity our YTE students explored the possibilities of creating an E-yearbook.  The criteria was that the product produced would be able to be physical in nature since we cannot ensure continuation of any program.  It was decided, after exploring various alternatives, that our YTE class would build a MST website which will be sponsored by Mr. T.  Within the MST website will be a link for our four (4) individual classes, i.e. 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.   YTE students will create a template for all four years.   Students will be able to submit 2 photos for publication along with information yet to be determined.   Our preliminary calculations indicate that students would be able to submit two (2) cell phone type photos and that the class would be able to burn a CD of the 2013 HTML page for the senior at very little cost.

Here is principal McCarron's response:

Great!  BUT, always that word, please let’s establish it for only Grade 12 students  this year.  It can be all four grades next year, let’s pilot the idea this year!  Senior photos, Faculty photos, Senior Shout Outs ($5.00), Senior Baby Photos($5.00), and campus-wide photos will be a great gift to hand seniors at graduation!  Thank you for your efforts and keep me posted!

Your...first MST  designs are due for this Friday December 7th.  We are on a very fast track for this project.  Please look at the LPS site and model your thoughts after theirs.
